Tips for your planning

  • If you come from North America, your  entries through Tokyo (NRT or HND) are much more flexible than through KIX.
  • We usually keep our seats at Shinkansen between Tokyo and Kyoto even without prior reservation if you have patience to wait up to an hour, because 9-10 trains an hour depart from Tokyo.
  • Major Asian and Europian carriers operate direct flights to KIX, while no US carriers operates direct flights from US mainland to KIX.
